Stay Healthy This Fall

Updated: Aug 16, 2020

Having a healthy child is not a short-term investment, it's a long-term investment that takes time, consistency and dedication by the parents.

What's more is that your children are depending on you to make the right choices for them; the ball is entirely in your court... but at times those choices can seem stressful, demanding, overwhelming and it's not always clear exactly what they need.

But, the effort is ALWAYS worth it, so it's important for you to do the research and from there do the very best you can to raise them in a healthy and nurturing environment.

I'm going to break down some information for you on the importance of these tips to help you keep your children stay healthy this Fall. 🍂

Let's begin with 'Nutrient Rich Food.' 🥑🍒🍉

Dr. Robert Morse, N.D., Biochemist, Master Herbalist and the Direct of the International School of Regenerative Detoxification has helped more than 150,000 chronically ill patients recover from serious illness. He firmly believes it's possible to heal someone's entire system with whole foods and herbs. In-fact he primarily focuses on healing the body with FRUIT. You see, we are an alkaline species and we need to eat fresh alkaline foods (fruits and vegetables) in order to stay healthy. The problem with that is the majority of the population is eating acidic, high protein and high starch diets which are destructive for our health and cause problems like inflammation, mucus, congestion and that leads to diseases such as arthritis and cancer. When our bodies become alkaline diseases can not survive.

Now, some may think that fruit sugar isn't healthy but the truth is fruit sugar is far different than processed sugars and starch. People have become confused with the difference! Most sugars found in foods and drink today are refined, very addictive and very destructive; it is definitely associated with decline health in humans so THAT sugar is what you want to avoid at all costs. BUT, with fruit sugars, AKA fructose, it's easy to digest and is essential in detoxification and the regeneration of cells. To function our bodies, just like a car, need fuel and that fuel for us comes from amino acids, fatty acids, natural sugars and oxygen - all of which fruit provides. Fruit is high in antioxidants and astringents which pull toxins from the body, it also promotes lymphatic health! Fruit is also the superior food for neurological (brain and nerve) conditions such as Parkinson's, MS, Alzheimer's, migraines & more because it brings energy to areas of the body that other foods take away, and it actively strengthens and protects the brain and nervous system. Fruit also has a high water content which carries enzymes and other life preserving elements to the body's cells and removes toxins and mucus from the body. And while other foods typically overwhelm our digestive system, fruit is easily digested and the high magnetic energy of fruit is than easily transferred to the cells of our body, furthering detoxification, regeneration & more.

In short, what I'm saying is, don't limit the amount of fruit your children eat (unless they have underlying medical problems - at that point consult with a doctor), they NEED it!

Next up, 'Immune Support.'

Incorporating herbs into your children's diets is one of the simplest ways of supporting their immune system. Consuming herbs has been shown to help prevent and manage heart disease, cancer and diabetes. It has also been shown to reduce inflammation which often leads to chronic illness, reduce the risk of blood clotting and ongoing studies are showing that they have anti-tumor properties. Other benefits of herbs have been shown to improve memory and brain function, relieve issues of IBS, lower blood sugar levels, fight infections & more.

If you're looking for a few key herbs that are easy to introduce to your child and maintain, just say the word. We are just days away from our next Elderberry sale and those immune strengthening herbs are just what your kids need to prepare for this Fall & Winter! ⛄️🌨

'Exercise.' How much exercise is your child getting? Or perhaps the more important question is, how much exercise are YOU doing to show your children how important it is?

I know, I know! It can be tough to make the time and to make sure you're taking care of yourself as a mother but it's a necessary step we need to take to set our children up for a lifetime of successful habits.

A physical and active child is a healthy child and exercise helps to strengthen a child's muscles, bones and prevents excessive weight gain which reduces the risk of diabetes, cancer, and other childhood illnesses.

Make time if you're able to go walking with your kids for at least 30 minutes each day, encourage as much outdoor play as possible. Invest in some outdoor play toys that will encourage exercise like trampolines, swings, pools and if you have the means think about registering them for sports like gymnastics, dance & other sports that encourage them to stay fit and maintain healthy habits.

Lastly, quality supplements. It can be really hard to know which are worth investing in and it feels like in recent years supplement companies have gone through the roof with not only the amount of supplements that they offer but the cost of them as well. Thankfully I can offer you Magnesium Lotion, Vitamin D Cream and whole food Vitamin C for a cost of just $33.97 or $30.57 for first time customers with the code newtoearthley. Snag some Elderberry while you're there and get yourself some free shipping! One stop shopping makes things so much simpler. 🙂
